Today I was with Blondine in Ghent (Belgium) for a culinaire outing. We started the day with a real Belgian flavour, a ‘kriek lambic beer’ and some people watching on the Graslei.

Kriek beer is a Belgian beer made from a certain type of sour cherry. If you are not a beer lover, this would be a great intro-entry level beer for you. It is sweet, fruity, sparkling and tasty… and you will barely notice the alcohol in it as well.
By the way, the Graslei is the perfect place in Ghent to people watch.
More of Ghent in the coming entries. For now, PROOST!

I am not sure if this is over exposure because I am only using a Sony point click camera but the skies and atmosphere were really like that around mid-noon in Ghent. The skies were a moving grey and white and there was somehow this silhouette hanging in the air. It was quite dramatic.
