The Royal Crescent Bath

Built in the mid 18th century, the Royal Crescent is one of the great examples of Georgian architecture in the UNESCO world heritage city of Bath in Somerset, England.

Many notable people have lived or stayed at the Royal Crescent. A large number of the townhouses are still in tact whilst some were split into smaller flats. There is one converted into a museum, and the large central part of townhouses are now a luxury hotel that serves popular English afternoon teas in in the city. Both the museum and luxury hotel carries the same name.

I was here on a late afternoon just having a little stroll. The whole place looks very elegant. The Royal Crescent is located very near to The Circus. It is about a 20-minute easy walk from the Bath Spa Railway Station to here.
