Our 11-hour direct flight Amsterdam to San Francisco went quite well. It was not an eventful flight but we did experienced slight turbulence 2 hours before landing which always get me nervous. Yes, I’m a travel addict and have obviously flown many times but I have to admit, I still get my jitters with flying, especially when there is turbulence and during the critical take-off and landing.
During our descent to San Francisco Airport the plane flew quite low above the city and we were able to take a few nice fotos. The KLM stewardess who happened to be standing near us said she has not seen San Francisco from the skies as clear as this. The city seems to be blanketed with heavy mist always but last Saturday I guess we got lucky!
