I have stayed in several areas of London before such as in Kensington, near the Earl’s Court area and Chelsea. For this trip I stayed at the Riverside in Southwark near the Tower Bridge. So if I ever come back and stay in London, I would like to stay here in the West End area near Covent Garden.
This place is a lively neighbourhood, day and night. There are lots of tourists roaming the streets here though but that does not matter. Because most of my visits in the past to London were predominantly business, being surrounded by enthusiastic tourists reminds me that I am travelling for pleasure. It also shows me a different view of London, far away from serious work stuff, which is more pleasurable.
Speaking of which, I will be back in the city again in a few weeks. Unfortunately it’s going to be a work trip. But I hope to be back in London for personal leisure soon as well.
