I really liked the city. There is an air of Europe meets America. I can even picture myself living temporarily here in Montreal, provided I live in the suburbs of Little Italy, the Gay Village or Le-Plateau Mont-Royal in one of those cool Victorian-style apartments.
Montreal is a huge city and I have only really scratched the surface, and what I meant by this is—I have only visited Ville-Marie, which is the centre of the city. Ville-Marie comprises of Old Montreal and the Old Port, Downtown Montreal, the Centre-Sud, Mount Royal Park, St. Helen’s Island and Ile Notre-Dame.
Anyway, these pictures were taken during a day stroll in Old Montreal last autumn together with my niece. I took a lot of pictures and wanted to share all of them here of course.
You can find my other entries and pictures of Old Montreal here:

- Montreal City Hall and Topiary Sculptures
- Jardin Nelson Terrace at Place Jacques-Cartier

I hope you enjoy the pictures!
