Yummiest Apfelstrudel in the Alps!

Of course we can’t Apres ski and drink to death every night in the bars in Gerlos, so some evenings we spent it in the chalet, watching TV and drinking wine.

Apple Strudel at Milchbar Café

We also discovered Milchbar Café. In true Austrian setting, the café is dressed in Victorian period style curtains. Busy flowery patterns, carved wooden alpine furniture, a conventional stone furnace. What more can you ask for in Austria? Well, a live acoustic singer of course! Yes, we were serenaded by a live acoustic singer.

I am not done yet. Cheery waitresses clad in traditional tracht or drindl Austrian dresses go about making sure everyone was having a good time. A very relaxing ambience with some culture and mellow entertainment for a change.

Dutchman and I enjoyed this so much we are giving this a 5 stars out of 5 rating. They serve this with ice cream as well.
