Colourful fishing boats in Santander, Cebu

At Eden Resort in Santander we woke up the next morning to this view — fishermen in their colourful boats. It was a lovely local sight. I sat on the terrace balcony drinking coffee and watching the local fishermen at work, doing their early morning fishing.

It did came to a point that there were so many fishing boats floating and scattered sporadically in the sea. I love it that the outrigger boats were in a rainbow of colours. They were quite a spectacle.

This is a nice extra treat for us. Thanks to the location of Eden Resort that faces the fishing area of the locals. This is an impromptu attraction for resort guests that is indigenous to Santander. Witnessing the local men making a living — fishing, their livelihood.
