So now that I have checked out the Saturday market, had lunch and visited the Notre Dame Cathedral, I will linger a bit in town. The weather has been very good and it would be so sad to pass the moment. I would rather be outside than being stuck in my car driving. I still have enough time to reach my destination, Caen in Normandy.
Amiens Hotel de Ville or in other words, Amien City Hall. A lot of foreigners often mistake ‘Hotel de Villes’ in France as hotels, no they aren’t they are government administrative offices.
Earlier I saw on the weather forecast that there will be 60% chance of rain in the Normandy area. If this was the Netherlands I would have, no doubt, lost all hope! But this is France, the land of much better weather. And if it will indeed rain in Normandy, at least I had nice weather here in Amiens, Picardy.
