In Modena I witnessed a bride arrived in a vintage hippie gypsy style light blue Volkswagen van.
The whole wedding entourage wore pink flower headdresses, even the camera and photographer crew. Although before my time, the theme reminds me of the 1960’s Flower Power fashion style.
Dogs adorned in pastel coloured flowers and lace ribbon sashes around their necks were part of the entourage and guests as well. Then the dashing groom emerged from the cheering crowd to meet his beautiful bride, with an escort dog in tow. Well it seems that both of them have their own escort dogs!

The bride and groom were wed at the Modena City Hall on Piazza Grande. The reception followed at the restaurant just below the City Hall which is very handy.
May and June, tis the season for weddings.
