Because this is a family trip, we did many family stuff such as visiting new properties of my siblings.
My sister who is based in Singapore bought last year a condominium in the city (Solinea), right in the smack of Cebu Business Centre. The concept is city resort living. I did not have pictures of the views because the building construction is currently in progress. I am sure she will have great views of the city.
On the other hand my brother bought a land high up in the hills at Monterazzas and they brought us there. Dutchman and I fell in love with the place and the view!
The clubhouse of the residential resort which is right below their lot is currently being built.
The whole residential mountain resort estate is a thousand feet above sea level with panoramic views of the city all the way to Mactan Island. My brother said they can build the house 9 feet (or metres?) above ground. Dutchman and I were already thinking of floor to ceiling glass window panels, contemporary design and a huge terrace.
Cebu City is a city in progress. Building constructions are everywhere and I am pretty sure that in a few years time the skyline will be dotted with skycrapers. Now, if only the government will do something with the horrible roads??? Traffic nightmare.
And oh, while we are at this, they can also help the underprivileged in the country as well instead of donating billions of dollars to the IMF to help the Euro crisis. I am like–HELLO? Are you serious Philippine government? Please chuck your ego and help your people first.
As I do not have a property myself in Cebu, I am just looking forward to when their places are finished so we can have a Cebu stay-vacation with a view.
