Making the Cuba travel itinerary has had me totally drained today! UGH
Girlfriend–Blondine and I will be going in a few weeks. We will be renting a car and I have made our roadtrip travel itinerary around these places:
- Havana
- Trinidad en Playa Ancon
- Cienfuegos
- Topes de Collantes
- Valle de los Ingenios
- Sancti Spiritus
- Camaguey
- Bayamo
- Santiago de Cuba
- Holguin
- Cayo Coco
- Santa Clara
- Vinales Valley
- Pinar del Rio
We will be staying in different types of accommodations, actually a mix of historical hotels, nature bungalow parks and beach resorts. This will be an adventure packed, culture and food-cocktails tripping, as well as chilling out holiday. I have even already noted down the popular local cafes where we will drink Cuban cocktails (Mojitos! Cuba Libre! Daiquiri!) and restaurants to try the Creole cuisine. Not to mention there will be lots of salsa dancing, and oh, the fragrant cigars and the vintage cars…
Honestly, I am beginning to get excited with this trip… I did not realise that, well that is after the extensive Cuba research this weekend… Cuba is such a COOL country. We shall see!
I need to sleep, I will be driving to Brussels tomorrow early morning. Not looking forward to the traffic =(
