Cafe with a view in Copenhagen’s Indre By: Café Hovedtelegrafen

Café Hovedtelegrafen is located at the top floor of the Post and Tele Museum. They are famous for their lunch, brunches during weekends and for a quick afternoon coffee. I went there of course for my afternoon drink–Irish Coffee.

Irish Coffee is good when it is a bit cold or fresh outside.

Views from the cafe, however, it is too cold to sit outside, so I am staying in.

April is still a bit cold in Denmark so the balcony terrace is still closed. I can just imagine what it would look like here in the summer. Best of all I love the floor to ceiling glass windows.

If you are in Copenhagen visiting, do drop by at this café for some coffee and city views, especially during the warmer months. The Irish Coffee I had was 5 stars out of 5. Perhaps a bit strong but I like it. I like whiskey and I like coffee. It was the perfect coffee laced with alcohol that I needed at that very moment.

The Post & Tele Museum is by the way free of charge. I didn’t check it out though. Just took a picture of the interesting technology art in the atrium lobby.

Technology art in the atrium lobby of the Post & Tele Museum. It feels strange to see some of the items were stuff I used and owned back in the 80’s and 90’s, and now they are ancient… extinct. Yesterday seemed so far away.
