Just a few pictures here of the Louvre Palace and Pyramid. Paris during August is super HOT. The temperatures were probably between 35C and 40C. Not really a good time to be walking around the city. I’d rather go to the beach and cool off from this microwave madness.
Underneath the ground of the Louvre Palace and Pyramid is the Caroussel du Louvre Shopping Centre. Because its boiling outside, the underground shopping mall was a major relief to Bru and I who could not stand the burning heat.
We did a little bit of shopping as well at Fragonard Parfumerie. I just found out that Fragonard’s perfume factory is located in Eze Village, in the outskirts of Nice, Cote d’Azur – France. I have been to this picturesque centuries old preserved mountain village.
And we did more window shopping at the other shops. Anywho, we are hungry and we could not wait to have our late lunch. ‘Till next entry!
