Without a doubt, the Sacre Coeur viewing point is where one can find the best panoramic views of Paris. When you stand here at the base of the church it’s like Paris is at your foot. Literally.
This was actually Bru’s request that we come here so I planned that we arrive before sunset so we can watch it. We barely made it as we arrived just before it got dark. A quickie sunset I guess but *sigh of relief* we made it! =)
So this Sacre Coeur is unbelievably busy, which is what I always remember of this place. Too touristy. Crowds are not really my kind of thing, I prefer to chill out than listening to singing and screaming kids drinking beer. It’s better to head off to Place du Tertre for some booze and grub and people watching. That’s exactly what we’ll do once we are done enjoying the Parisian panoramic sunset view.
