The Bosphorus Bridge (Boğaziçi Köprüsü) in Istanbul with the skycrapers of Levent business district in Besiktas behind it.
I did a cruise in Istanbul early this year and managed to take these pictures of the modern part of Istanbul from the Bosphorus strait.
The municipality of Besiktas represents modern Istanbul. You will find many tall buildings here in the Levent business district, as well as the big modern shopping mall called Kanyon. Quite timely, the Bosphorus Bridge completed the whole backdrop of the modern Istanbul setting.
Hmm, is it just me? The whole panorama somewhat reminds me of San Francisco…
