These chalets are for rent whilst a few of them are for sale (going at €450K++). They are located at Le Hameau de Flaine, a village that is part of Flaine but located outside the village centre. You will find Le Hameau de Flaine before reaching Flaine. It is just a 3 minute drive to the main village (about 2 kilometres).
The daily free ski bus goes every 15 minutes to the Flaine main village and the pistes. The last bus is after 18:00 (I think 18:15?).
I was looking at these chalet accommodations as well but the they were too big for just the two of us. Plus it is not really the best place for skiing in and out. The chalets however are very romantic, pretty, exclusive and quiet. Great for families or with a large group of friends for a skiing holiday trip.
