The Bath Abbey is the heart of the city. I was here last year and I stayed just beside the Bath Abbey in the Abbey House which is a building that is originally part of the Bath Abbey complex of buildings. The pretty apartment I stayed at is called Abigail’s Parlor and the view from the living room is the Abbey Green. Nothing could be more central than this apartment.

Beside the Abbey (and which is just around the corner from the apartment) is the the Ancient Roman Baths which is now a museum. See the picture above, the Roman Baths is the building on the right. A must visit for every one visiting the city.
I really enjoyed very much my stay here in Bath. Because of my centrally located apartment, it was easy for me and it felt safe as well to be strolling around the centre in the evening.
There is something really special when you stay in the heart of the city, when you are able to witness how busy it is during the day, and see it for yourself as well in the evening, devoid of tourists. I find that quite extraordinary to have the opportunity to see the contrast of both worlds.
I did not have many evening pictures of the Abbey but these are the few ones I took.
